Background
Journey to Excellence is scouting's national performance assessment and recognition program for scouting units.  Unit performance assessment is made in comparison to national standards in a variety of areas including:  Advancement, Camping, Service Projects, Training, Membership, Retention, Leadership and Budgeting.

Possible Ratings
Depending on the level of performance in key assessment areas it is possible for scout units to earn Bronze, Silver or even the highest Journey to Excellence rating - Gold.

2013 and 2014 and 2015 - Gold
For 2013 charter year we are proud to announce that Troop 634 earned Gold level!  Thank you to all scouts and adults that helped make Troop 634 a Journey to Excellence Gold performing unit!  We repeated this in 2014 and 2015!!!
